Liars were conceived in Nov 2000 by and by on iI friends and ex-Los Angeles art students, Henry Louis Aaron Hemphill and Black Angus St. Andrew, reunited in Newly House of York City. They responded to a "musicians wanted" ad posted in a local record storehouse by deuce Nebraskans, Pat Noecker and Bokkos Albertson. The lurching Australian St. Andrew took on the vocal/frontman duties piece Hemphill became their guitar player and drum-machine software package applied scientist.
